A «roadtheatre» experience produced in Stjørdal for the Byfest. The project is an investigation about who and what “Stjørdalingen” is today, and it develops as a search for identity for the community of Stjørdal city, that is constantly changing. The project ties together the graffiti written on the wall in Halsøenkrysset, which gives the title to the project, with Stjørdal center and the classic, Greek epic “The Odyssey” by Homer. It is an interdisciplinary project that combined theater, dance, music and visual arts.
The concept challenges both the artistic method to stage a classic, literally on the road and the means of involving people. It breaks the boundaries that usually separate professional artists from amateurs and merges them in a qualitative performing art experience.

Einar Hugnes, «Skilled actors and a big surprise» i i Bladet.no
«Many show great acting talent in this play, Odysseus himself is played by Jon Vegard Hovdal, who together with Siri Schnell Juvik are the only professional actors. Both of them made good use of their qualities in the play, and contributed to both tying everything together and maintaining the drama along the way. Several of the other actors also impressed, some of them from the Youth Theatre in Lokstallen (…) In addition to good acting performances, we liked the music, performed by Trondheim Sinfonietta and composed by Bergmund Waal Skaslien».
