«The enchantment room» is a chamber opera for children between 5 and 8 years old loosely based on the musical fairy tale «L’enfant et les sortilèges» written by Colette and composed by Maurice Ravel. On a rainy afternoon a Child in his room has fallen asleep on his homework and begins to dream giving life to a kaleidoscope of characters that will animate his fantasies. The child begins a journey in search of Mr. Time, the only one who can repair his broken clock, who lives in the “Garden that is not there”. Thanks to this initiatory journey the child will understand the importance of love that wins over violence and hate. In the performance the audience is engaged thanks to the integrated dramaturgy of music and physical actions.
